You really do not want to take all of the slack out of the throttle cable. Someone did this in my garage while I was busy doing other things. We took his car out for a drive to check out his SC.
I nailed it in first. I nailed it in second and we were at idle throttle with no control.
He ended up flat bedding the car home. See the pic.
