New gas stations' storage tanks are cleaner; but I'd wait until the day after the tanker truck fills them before getting their gas.

Brands giving the most miles per dollar (MP$) for premium have been Amoco, Chevron, Phillips 66, and sometimes Mobil or Texaco. Right now, there's a brand new Phillips stations nearby so I'm using it. Depending on the exact blend the refinery makes a batch of gas with and the specific additives put in the tanker truck when it fills up, any one could actually have more BTUs per gallon. But the difference is very small and I prefer to use the brand producing the most miles per dollar of premium gas.
