....accurate because both M and Z coupes and roadsters typically have indicated speed about 5% faster than actual speed. With the larger diameter tires, you're probably closer to a match between speedometer and actual speed over the ground.Borrow a good GPS unit (Garmin), then go out on the highway and compare speedometer to GPS indicated mph. GPS units are typically accurate within 1/10th mph of actual speed and that's close enough for 99% of us.
Or time the car's constant speed (like at 60 mph indicated) between two mile markers on an interstate, then convert the time per mile to mph to see what the speedometer's error is.
