just in case if you guys want to know. i think the difference is pretty large as the car go faster.
the difference is 2% for both front & rear :
225/45-17 = 24.972" tall
235/35-19 = 25.476"
245/40-17 = 24.717"
265/30-19 = 25.260"
the 2% increase in rear tire size would in theory make the car accelerate slightly faster as the rear gear ratio is effectively higher (each turn of the axle takes the car a farther distance), but the 19" wheels are likely heavier than the stock ones, which slows the spooling up of the drivetrain (more interia) some.
I wouldn't want to pay for wheels or tires when you hit a pothole & bend a rim and/or puncture a tire.
I've always agreed with the thought that you use 17" wheels for go (track/auto-x) & 18" & larger for show (unless you have really huge brakes).
