Heading to Rockingham Dragway today (archive)

A friend of mine with a 2001 C5 Vette talked me into going to the pre-season test and tune session with him in Rockingham, NC. You pay $15 and get to run your car on the dragstrip. You get as many runs as time permits and an official 1/4 mile time each run. Should be interesting, I've never really practiced launch technique or quick shifting, and I don't really like straight line racing but we'll see how it goes. I talked a few others into going so we should have the Vette, my '99 M Coupe, a '00 S2000, and a '92 Ferrari 348ts all there.
