and the Coupe was actually the lighter of the two, but not by much. Though you would think BMW would be accurate on this.

It is interesting to note that the M3 Cab is listed as weighing 400lbs more than the M3 Coupe! 3781lbs almost portly.

Who knows with testing the new M Coupe may regain its title :)
