out. I haven't watched a whole nascar race in years, but I watched the race yesterday and saw the crash. I must say that was one of the most exciting nascar races I have ever watched- each car neck and neck the whole way.

The crash did not look very bad at the time and no one even knew he was dead until much later after the race ended. I found it particularly upsetting because he and Dale Jr. were doing their best to help their friend and co-driver Michael Waltrip win his first Nascar race and his first Daytona 500. If he hadn't had been trying to fight off Sterling Marlin so diligently, he might still be here. What a bummer. He was an incredible driver and he seemed like a very nice man.
