As a fan of all sorts of motorsports I am appalled that someone on an automotive enthusiasts board would even make a statement like that. No true racing fan watches for the crashes and NEVER wants to see any driver get injured, let alone die. I have never been an Earnhardt fan, but I have appreciated and admired what he could do with a race car, and more importantly more recently have recognized what a truly good person he was off the track.
