Nada on MZ3, Dealers always think Coupe means M3! (archive)

But I also agree every time I've asked about the M Coupe, they ALWAYS tell me I'm looking for an M3. I've gotten the most quizzical looks at times. If I was selling a piece of machinery for $40k+, you'd think I'd be able to answer most questions about it. It's like some dealers have never seen one...pitiful.

I wish BMW dealerships would know what an M-Coupe is! Everytime I have spoken with a BMW dealer in the Bay Area (prior to purchasing mine, or for getting service/parts) I have told them I have an M-Coupe. And they always think I mean a M3 2-door! EVERYTIME!!! I always have to tell them its the MZ3 hatchback. Then they finally understand.
