...light of about 1200 lumens compared to the standard 6006's 1000 lumens. Got a new/unopened pair at a garage sale and had to try them in my Z3. I put them in our pickup instead.

In testing other possible low-beam bulb situations, I took a regular Sylvania 9005 high-beam bulb, cut away part of it's top tab and the two ribs inside its connector so it would fit a 6006 low-beam headlight and connector, installed it, then checked it out at night. Its 1700 lumens was much better than the 1000 lumens of the 6006 bulb. I think this is an inexpensive way to almost double the brightness of the low beam headlights.
