Because I see dozens of Z3 roadsters and the M-Roadster doesn't really stick out from the other Z3's...I have only seen 2 other M-coupes in the 1.5 years I have had mine. I couldn't even count home many Z3 and MZ3's I have seen.

Coupe also seemed to be a better performer.

Better looking...IMHO.

I sometimes wish I could have the convertible but it's so rare in New England to have really good top-down weather.

I've had a convertible before and this is what I have found...

Winter - leaky and cold.
Spring - Maybe 10 days where it wasn't raining or too cold.
Summer - It's too hot during the day...the nights are PERFECT though.
Fall - early fall is the best season in New England for a convertible.
