When I bought my //M Coupe it already had an upgraded stereo system (thankfully). My old car had an aftermarket system and while the stock HK system isn't bad, it was just lacking IMO.

The previous owner had replaced the head unit, and stock speakers with Boston Acoutics components all the way around. For a sub, there's a BA Pro 8" in a custom enclosure on the driver side. It fits very nicely and I loose very little trunk space (the box is about .3 ft^3). The amps are where the stock amp/sub used t be which is really nice since no one can see they are there, and I don't lose any more trunk space. I've got a pic but can't post if if anyone would care to post it for me.. :)

Overall, I'm very, very, pleased with the sound quality and sub response. The great thing about the Coupe is that since it's a hardtop you don't have to have push a large amount of power to make it loud.

I'm fine with most of the system but I would like to add another sub..... What have people tried? What works well. I was thinking about installing the factory sub that comes in the convertibles where the sub is between the two front seats (where we have a storage shelf). Has anyone done that and how does it sound?

THanks,
