Why not just leave them on all of the time?

The UUC solution I use didn't add any additional cockpit noise, so I am not sure why you would take the JTD rings off for comfort reasons. But it is cool that you can take them off when you go to the stealer. That way you won't get any flack about aftermarket parts if you have any transmission problems.

The other thing is you don't have to drop the transmission brace to install them like you do when you replace the whole bushing. Again, not too compelling a reason, but the install is much easier.
