1. Someone just posted that the newspaper in Spartanburg said they'd start to roll cars in March, just like the M3. That's the last official word from BMW, too.
2. Someone says now that the "official word" is nothing's happening until June or July.
3. The 2 dealers I've talked to have no strict information, no official release from the factory. They don't even have an official option list yet; all they have is base pricing.
Therefore, no one knows anything. Stop pretending they do! Dealers are talking out their @$$es, and the manufacturer has been hush-hush. The only thing I'd believe is that no one knows anything reliable. The bottom line? We'll all just have to wait and see. Hope for the best, expect the worst.
My 2 c.
just talked to my dealer, they said the latest word from the factory is SOP june (maybe), meaning cars won't be showing up at dealers until late july at the earliest. bummer, was kinda hoping for a birthday present to myself in june :(
on the plus side they might have an M3 demo that i could drive at the end of this month (wait list is 2 years out, sadly).
