I've learned you gotta clean the wheels very well once in a while else the black stuff almost permanently bonds to the wheels. Every 3000 miles, I rotate my tires and while they're off, the wheels get scrubbed clean. Between wheel rotations, they're much easier to clean off at the local spray car wash after sprayint them with the wheel cleaner.

It's all worth it and a willing compromise to use one of the best brake systems on the road.
