I normally run BFG T/A R's as my autocorss tires. BFG stopped making them. I toasted my front tires in ten autocrosss events (really four with two driver car plus an autocross school) in six weeks.

I ordered a set of Kumho tires as my replacement tires.

Here is the issue I need resolved. The rear set of my BFG's are in great shape and have about three to five more autocross events in them. Can I run the BFGs in the rear with Kumhos on the front until the rears wear out? When the BFGs are toasted I'll put Kumhos on the rear also.

Yea, call me cheap but I just got them (the BFGs) and if you knew how many sets of "R" compund tires I got through each year you would understand why I want to try and save a buck or two here. And yes I also know handling will be effected.
