I have 225/45 front and 255/40 rear ... and have driven a couple hundred miles to Portland International Raceway (from Bellevue, WA) for a lapping session, and then driven 200 miles back home with no harm done. I suppose you could use the "Victoracers" as a daily summer tire when it is mostly dry. The disadvantage of these tires are:
* On the street is they tend to follow any grooves in the road surface
* VERY marginal for wet streets, especially if the tread is lacking.
* They pick up rocks like crazy (you can hear 'em hitting the fender-wells)... the cars following will not like following a stone-thrower!

They ARE a great track tire for the $$, though. My thoughts ... FWIW
