Maybe, but they have major problems with the motor nuking @ high RPM's and the only quick workaround is lowering the redline. Does anyone know if BMW resolved this problem? If they started production in October- where are the cars??? Where are the brochures?

I also heard a rumor that the next gen M3 will have a V8. This is stupid IMO(might as well go for the M5)but you can't squeeze blood from a stone. I think they hit the HP ceiling on the current power plant.

I know that many of you waiting for the new M Coupe have questions regarding production timeframe. Tom confirmed that S.O.P. is indeed this month. The numbers are very limited, though... On the order of a couple of dozen vehicle per month for the USA for the initial months of production...
