Fantastic Bondurant Experience! (long) (archive)

Well, I did the 4 day Gran Prix course at Bob Bondurant in Phoenix. What a fantistic experience!! I expected it to be fun, but it was far more than I hoped. I must have said "More fun than should be legal" at least a couple of dozen times per day. The instructors where great and really seemed to know their stuff. Pete Miller, the instructor that I worked with mostly, was awesome. He could make the GT as well as the specially set up Crown Vic ( I wnat one!) fly through the track, all the while calmly explaining how to properly negotiate the curves. The Formula Fords have convinced me that I NEED TO RACE! But first, I need to collect a huge pile of money. any suggestions out there on what class to start in?

Any of you that have any love of driving fast and smooth owe it to yourselves to attend this course. You'll never regret it. (Oh, and take the insurance ;>)
