You would never think I guy who is 6'7" could be so friggin' smooth. Every single heel-and-toe downshift sounded identical. I couldn't believe how well he drove. When I took the course, I remembered thinking that I luckily got the best instructor. Anyway, I envy that feeling of just finishing that course. It was one of the top 10 things (maybe 5) I've done in my life. Did you guys get taken out in a bus and taken around the maricopa oval at ridiculous speeds? That was really fun. I remember my leg shaking uncontrollably in the classroom immediately after, itching to get into those Mustang GTs...The classroom was worth it though. Glad you enjoyed the course.

I agree with you about Pete. He makes it look so-o-o-o damn easy it gave us all the confidence we needed. Yes, we did take a large van around the track at high speeds on the 1st day. We all got a little green!

Can't wait to do it again.
