The word "GTR" means a hell lot in japan. It's the benchmark of performance car in Japan. With minimal software upgrade, it (R34 VS2) produces 400hps+ easily. You can't really compare EVO or WRX (yeah the STi version) to the Skyline, they are in different classes. EVO and WRX are rally road cars, GTR is a true GT car. As long as there are long straight road, GTR beats the shit out of them.

Don't know much about GTR coming to N.America though... but it's a legend on the other side of the planet. Some japanese (Mine's as i could remember) once mod a R33 to over 1000hps, crazy.
