then the 'titty' is not a bad choice. i drove one and the lack of guts off the line bugged me. as a daily car, you don't always come off the line at 2500 rpm (well, i don't anyway ;) - and to me the turbo 4 would be really irritating. the M coupe is a torque monster, and it's a lot of fun no matter what speed. it is also not very forgiving sometimes. pretty much forget it in the snow. for me it is no contest, M all the way. for you it may be different. DO drive a '99 or '00 M before making up your mind, though. you'll KNOW.
