Don't you just love the high oil temps? The 95 E36 LTW oil cooler, housing, lines will fit the M coupe. I elected to place an oil cooler as far forward into the cool air path as possible. When you go to hang the factory oil cooler, take a look at your radiator, you will see that the radiator has mounting slots in the bottom to hold the brackets that mount to the factor oil cooler, cool ! Many of E36 M3 owners have had to come up with some other way to mount the factory oil cooler under the radiator.

Don't forget to figure out how you are going to mount your oil present and temp sensors (JTD Block) and do you tap the rear hole of the housing to 14mm to take the factory M coupe vanos line or make your own vanso line to fit (having the hole tapped is easy).

The bottom tray the fits under the front bumper and radiator may have to be modified to allow air to flow into the factory oil cooler. There is a piece of plastic that stands perpendicular to the tray and blocks off air from flowing under the raditor. You may have to cut this back to allow air to flow into the cooler. I believe the LTW had a different tray, but that's for an E36 M3.

I'm still a little concerned that you my not get enough air to flow through the factory oil cooler to cool down the oil enough. Take a look through the front bumper and hood of the M coupe, can you see the bottom of the raditor, could you also see an oil cooler?
