I have posted several times about my quest to fit an oil cooler to my u.s. spec M coupe. I found that an oil cooler was fitted to the euro motor M coupe and roadster. Would one of you who have this combo please look under your car at your oil cooler and see if the lines to it,(from the oil filter housing), enter on the drivers or passenger side,(please specify if you are RHD or LHD). If the lines enter on the pass side,(right if sitting in the car), do you think it is possible to turn the oil cooler so the lines are on the other side? I am using the lines from an M3 LWT and they enter on the left side of the radiator,(left from sitting in the car).
On another related note, where do the lines for your oil cooler come from? Do they come from the oil filter housing and then wrap around?
Thank you very much for any insight.
