Does anyone know what a BMW diagnostic computer will say in regards to an airbag light? If there is a discontinuity in a circuit, will it tell which one? I'd hate to have to dismantle the seats and door panels and steering wheel to trouble shoot if the diagnostic equipment can narrow it down. But if it just says "failure in contiunity" but doesn't narrow it down, it wouldn't serve much purpose to go to the dealer; we already know there's an issue with a plug or contact or something. Anyway, thanks...

Ron

that's what it took in my '00 M anyway. The factory is aware of this fix
