ever since the new Z3 came out. I infiltrated the Z3coupe crowd with the purchase of my 2K TiMcoupe last year in the hopes of obtaining some valuable insiders secrets. I have also tried to propogate mx-5 propoganda throughout the Z3 community, but our secret is OUT! Looks like all our miata club track days paid off!!!

LOL, I think the name change sucks monkey, but money talks and at least it is not being shut down. I'm happy to be an enthusiast in both crowds- both cars kick buttisimus maximus.

It could be worse- it could be called Juniper Networks Raceway- LOL.

Laguna Seca No More…

On Tuesday the Monterey County Board of Supervisors will here an offer from the Mazda Corporation to give Mazda an exclusive sponsorship at the Laguna Seca Raceway for a period of five years.

The County of Monterey will receive $290,625.00 and Mazda will commit to make 7.5 million in improvements to the track and sounding County Park.

As a part of the deal the name of the track will be changed to the "Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca".

This is NOT an April fools joke. The above information was taken from the front page of "The Californian," the local newspaper in Salinas, California.

I think I'll cry.

Lester
