If durability is your only issue the Yokohama is a great tire. It is a hard tire and lasts a long time. But it doesn't really grip any better then a high performance street tire like the AVS Sport.

If you are looking for a tire with good wear, deeper treads (for those wet track days) and great performance I would recommend waiting for the Toyo RA-1s which will be coming out later this month in sizes for our car.

I have the Kumhos, and they are great tires. But they have no tread (no damp track days without white knuckes), and they wear faster then other tires... especially if you aren't running -2 degrees of camber in the front.
