no, it wasn't quite that low, but close - however it was over a year ago, the car had 6K miles on it, the 225hp 3.0 coupe was not out yet, and the new 315hp model was but a dream... a 240hp M with 17K miles is unlikely to bring over 30 these days, unless the seller gets very lucky. just an opinion, of course (and it does vary a bit by area of the country).

M3 orders are filled. I'll be in the market in September and the lower the better pricewise for me. Still, I see a lot of dealers/private parties listing in the $37-$40k range for even high mileage coupes. I'll just wait it out (no choice anyway)
