I also havee a 97 Supra TT and '00 M coupe. In stock configuration, the M coupe is a bit more fun to drive, the Supra is an amazing sports coupe, isn't it?

I live in central VA and temperatures reached about 98 last year with 90 percent humidity. Didn't ever have a real terrible heat problem. My supra with the roof on was just as hot.
As for weight, I'm not sure, but I would suspect that glass is lighter than the metal/paint/fabric.
I know the specs on the weight are out there somewhere.
And I never mentioned the defrost potentential the roof allows in humid climates like VA when it's raining.
Either way, you'll be happy with 315 HP of raw Coupe power.
