As you're probably aware, the plastic screw caps are next to impossible to remove without damaging them. I bought 20 of them from Circle BMW for $6.20.

Over the counter, retail parts pricing at most dealers is criminal. Pick up a issue of Bimmer magazine and just order from any of the consumer friendly places like Bert Smith BMW (800-282-3516) or Pacific BMW.

I was just at my dealer at the Parts Department looking to buy a handful of those little plastic discs that you press over the screw heads that are found all over the interior of the car. They only had 2 so I told the guy I'd wait, but he also told me they were $4.83. I said "apiece?" and he said yes. You have got to be kidding me. Anybody else bought them? They are part no. 51 48 8 353 567

Thanks.
