And yes I ride. Currently I have a '95 Honda 750 VFR on the street and a '92 Ducati 900SS that I race in CCS. Am new to the BMW world, acquired my '00 Titanium Silver M Coupe in February. Have riden since 1970, raced since 1985. Have been road race instructor for over 10 years.

Some suggestions:

1. Enroll in a MSF course.
2. Start with a "reasonable" and fun ride.
3. Get as much track time as possible and ride sanely on the streets.
