From what i hear RA1's are going to be released in 225/45 and 255/40 sizes very soon. 235/40 would be the best for the fronts, but 225/45 aint a bad size to use, especially if it is as wide as the kunmo's (which are as wide as a 235).

For all you racers and track dudes out there- I know Doug Peete uses Kuhmo's on his BBS wheels, but I am look at purchasing the SSR Competition wheels that Scott Galaba raves about(I have also heard good reviews from the miata racers- the 15x7's are under 9 pounds!!!!!!!

I would like to get slightly wider track tires(235/45/17 and 265/35/17) so I looked on Toyo's website- I really want the Potenza RA-1's as I have heard they are better than the V700's, but they have like nothing as far as 17 inch sizes! I also looked @ Tire Rack online and the largest they have V700's is 255/40/17- there is no 265 spec tires!!!

Any ideas out there?

Scott G? Doug P? Mike Z?

Thanks all,

Mike
