I actually live in Atlanta, but I know for a fact that you CAN get them in the UK. I think they are as rare over there as they are here but they can be bought. As with all Z3's, the Roadsters seem to be far more common, but my Dad HAS spotted a couple of M Coupe's over there!
So, relocating to the UK eh?...that's good! I'm sure you'll enjoy it over there - have you been before? I've been in the U.S for 2 years now and it's very different from the U.K, I have to say tho' there are certain things I miss about England, the weather NOT being one of them....the UK has some beautiful countryside, it's just unfortunate that the weather doesn't allow folks to enjoy it!!...
Anyhow, new or pre-owned, just know that you will pay a LOT more over there. The UK is the most expensive car market in the world! so know that you will pay way more for one over there than you would here.
My thoughts....Buy one over here!...Get the car, and ship it over? I know I can't bear to be without mine for even a day....and you should just go for it!
You'll have to keep me posted with the planned move..and I'll see if I can give you some 'local' knowledge!
Cheers
Rachel
I am about to be in the market for your favorite car and mine- an M Coupe. Preferrably preowned. I am so ready to drive one of the best cars in the world except for one tiny fact. I am in California, and I may (or may not) relocate for a few years to the UK. If I do, I don't want to have to part with a newly purchased car.
I was just wondering... are M Coupes (or Z) common in the UK? Are they even available? Could someone find one if one looked hard enough? And where would one start looking for a Preowned...
Thanks!
