Hey, finally saw your post regarding the remote. I have the Blaupunkt Thummer remote and Toronto headunit. The Toronto has been discontinued, but they still make the Thummer (at least a newer version of it) and have several head units that work with the Thummer. One nice thing about the Toronto is that it has adjustable color so you can pretty much go through the spectrum and match existing instrumentation. The rest of my system consists of Zapco amps, JL Audio subwoofer, and MB Quart speakers.

I got the Toronto, Thummer, and CD changer from Crutchfield.
