A good stereo is cool when you are doing an outside event (picnic, party, etc) away from a power outlet. A good stereo can provide the dancing music in quite a nice radius.

Another reason is for traffic. While DRIVING a sports car is cool without listening to music, stop and go traffic is not fun.

So, if you get to consistently DRIVE the car then a stereo upgrade can be overlooked. If you stop in places where music is nice then why not upgrade the stereo? The HK system is soooooooooooo bad... You don't appreciate it until you've had something better.
