2 cool things I just read in Roundel: (archive)

1. the writeup about going to the raceway with various manufacturers' cars was neat. they liked the Z3 3.0i coupe the best. they also kept bringing up again and again how stupid BMW is for using 330ci brakes for not only the 330ci, but also the US e46m3 and the 5 series. same old story: brake fade brake fade brake fade; and this was only the 330ci!

2. my instructor from bondurant, steve pfeffer won a race in the speedvision worldcup series, he runs in the mcmillin 328 (?!?!?). this verifies once again that i was right to be in awe of his ability but also: there's a whole other freakin' level that racecars drivers have that plebians like me do not.
