Why not have it all? That's my perspective. I also am somewhat of a cheapskate (even though I own an M-Coupe) so my stereo was pretty inexpensive....

$300 for the deck.
$80 for the SubBox
$115 for the Rear roof speakers
$65 on Ebay for the Polk Mid-range speakers upfront
The Subs, amps and most of the wiring was free! Long story...
I did the install myself and with Ox's virtual email help.

To me it was a bargain. I did put money into the car performance-wise too, I did the B&B and the Dinan CAI, some aluminum pedals, lots of Chrome extra's, nicer tires, etc...

Anyway, yep, we're all right!

So for about $550 I have an amazing sound system. If I did it over again, I wouldn't buy the rear roof speakers.

yes, everyone has their own priorities...

mine would be to add to the overall performance of the car.....

like maybe some Dinan or maybe Ground Control suspension upgrades.....or maybe Konis all the way around....

or, might do some LeatherZ upgrades....for a grand you could really to that interior up
