Ox, I'm in Raleigh. Been to VIR twice, did parade laps at SCCA Nationals last September, but we were limited to about 60 mph. What a great course. Are you going to try and to the CCA class there in July?


We ran the upper (north course?) part of VIR. I ran it up to 95-100 near the entrance bridge. Because of the large amount of cars, the front strait backed up pretty bad. (no passing) We were asked to limit it to a speed that kept a good distance between ourselves and the car in front.

I can't wait until my pictures come back. I stood up at the start of the roller coaster turn during the feature race and watched the leader bring his car up on two wheels many times. I also may have a picture of a guy hanging the rear end out about 45 degrees while in a pack during lap 2. We'll see what the camera saw!
