It's not just gear ratios and horsepower, you have to remember our Coupes have a very high drag co-efficient. Take a look at 200 mph cars - they are engineered for low drag and high downforce, since at speeds above 160 or so, the drag on the car increases twice for each 20 mph.


This guy spent over $35,000 modifying the car, the car comes with a different diif, and they changed the gears out to taller ones. It is possible but yes its major tranny work. When the guy told me 30% I thought it was kinda high too, but I didnt understand him really well due to his accent.
