CCA is BMW CCA. Tarheel CCA runs a couple of schools a year at VIR, and at other tracks in the Southeast (Carolina Motorsports Park), Savannah, etc. SCCA is Sports Car Club of America. They run a number of different events at VIR, mostly Improved Touring/American Sedan classes, plus Formula Vee and higher powered formulas.

VIR is great isn't it? The parade laps did th esmae thing for me -- ear to ear grin.

Where are you located? I'm in Raleigh, NC, with an Oxford Green M Coupe -- same as yours?

I am really new to all this VIR/SCCA/CCA stuff. I'd love to learn more about it. If you have any good tips or information, please pass it on.

But to answer your question, I have no idea if I'm going or not until I sort of this overload of information out in my head. All I know is that it felt like a slow drip of adrenaline hooked up via IV during those parade laps! *grin*

Ox, I'm in Raleigh. Been to VIR twice, did parade laps at SCCA Nationals last September, but we were limited to about 60 mph. What a great course. Are you going to try and to the CCA class there in July?
