Sorry, realize the info's in the archive, but for some reason I can't open up the relevant page...can just get to the archived message and hypertxt...anyone have another lead or a copy handy so I can get rid of the rattle? Thx.


I removed the glove box on my M Roadster and got ready to take it apart, but thought I'd take a test drive without the glovebox and what do you know, I still have the rattle. I realized it was the airbag unit above the glovebox that was rattling. I got on my back and looked up under the dash and tightened a number of bolts holding it in and also inserted some foam pads around it. That stopped the rattling and I reinstalled the glove box and all has been fine since. Good luck.
