Exactly, the e46 runs a 13.3 and has a worse power-to-weight ratio than the m-coupe. So the
m-coupe with just small mods like CAI and chip will probably be high 12s. The gearing might hurt it though, and might be worth changing. We'll see.



I timed 13.70 with Dinan CAI and SS exhaust at Moroso and find it very hard to believe that the new M coupe is doing the quarter in 13.8-.9. That driver must not have launched the car correctly or just slipped the clutch and then floored it. If the M3 coupe does the 1/4 in 13.3, then the 2001 M coupe should be able to hit that number at the minimum.
