If I remember correctly from what I was told at MIS where we saw the 1-lappers run, the Stommel's had never been to the strip before.

additionally, the car was brand new & belonged ot BMW NA, so they were not about to beat the living snot out of it if they wanted to ever get the chance to do something so cool again.

Bob & Jayne both club race an E30 M3 & have an E36 M3. he said "the car is waaaay faster than the M3 & lots of fun."

the 1-lap was a pretty amazing colection of vehicles as well.

I figure the car will run low 13's stock, but that's just a wide guess on my part & frankly it's meaningless in the way most people use the car day to day or on the track.
