Anyone have any thoughts on the Kumho ECSTA Supra 712's? Just drove in my first autocross, in my 99 M coupe (purchased 3 mos ago) and decided to go stock for my first few events before making any decisions on mods. After my first event, however, I feel I desperately need to get rid of my stock dunlops. I am just at the beginning of my learning curve, re: competition driving, but I felt that any time I put the power down exiting a turn my rear would break free with no warning. Fishtailed all over the place. My second fastest run was with the ASC ON! besides upgrading the driver, any rec's on affordable autox/street tires (my daily driver?)? Also, what sizes would you recommend?
