I'd be really careful. The officer will know way more than you about what constitutes the law and will know how to make his actions seem perfectly legal. If I were you, I'd avoid doing this if the problem is just the fact that they are following you.


Check out the link below for some simple steps to take. But basically, if you witness a cop doing something illegal, and you have the guts...try and signal him to pull over. From there you basically tell him that you believe he broke the law, and you are making a citizen's arrest. Now of course "arrest" in this case doesn't mean you get to hand-cuff the officer! But I believe the police have forms in their cars that are used for making citizen's arrests that you must fill out.

Just remember, cops are NOT above the law. And I think they should be prosecuted if they break laws for no reason.
