Anyone here know of anyone who bought a car in one of those raffles? Like for example, you pay $100 to get a ticket where you have a 1:1000 chance of winning the car. This sounds like a scam. I always see these things in the classifieds of autoweek, and was curious as to the legitimacy of these raffles. It would seem to me that they would take the money and not raffle off the car unless they sold 100% of their tickets. Either that or rig it so one of their "friends" would win.
