I posted a while back asking for your opinion on making these cars shift smoother. You had recently posted that you were short-shifting you '01 Coupe because the stock bushing wear out immediately. Is this one culprit in the notchy shift caper?

What about the mounts for the transmission itself? I've heard of people adding these rings (or collars) around the stock mounting points, to eliminate play. Is this the best solution, as it adds vibration.
