First, let me say what a bummer that you coudn't make it up on Saturday in your new Coupe, "dp". Mark July 22nd on your calendar ... that's our next one. Contact Jacqueline about maybe applying your funds to that day ... (?maybe?)

Had just a few sprinkles during the 1st driving sessions Sat. morning, so took it really easy with the Kumhos track tires. It was "ride day" for me ... I gave 6 rides that day, never going by myself. I really enjoy showing other people the capability of the Coupe and the track is the right place to do that. Had a buddy up from Arizona who owns a C5 and got him hooked on the fun of driving a road course. Both my sons got rides also. My younger son really wants an older "325" badly so he can join me on lapping days. He'll be a quick study, I'm sure. Another friend who I gave a ride to could NOT believe how the Coupe could hang on the corners! He thought he knew what fast was ... and admitted NOW he knows what it is! :)

Overall, a very fun day as the weather cooperated making for a dry track in all but the morning sessions. Had my new new "Euro" rotors with gas slots and the "crygenic" treatment put on last week and some Peformance Friction "Z-ratd" pads. They worked great! Good timing on my gas ... filled it up for the day and was getting some fuel starvation on my last lapping session. It was time to quit anyway.

Again ... I say the road course is the domain for our Coupes! What fun!
