By bending the rear trailing arms you do not in any way weaken them. They are bent without heat and are actually stronger than in the unbent state. Also, realize that we are talking about 1-1.5 degrees here. This is not a major alteration of the original trailing arm shape. (Less than can be seen with the human eye.) There are some downsides. One if you want to go back to the original suspention you might actually end up with some positive camber. Second, as Karl pointed out, you can not make adjustments. Personally, I don't really see the need for multiple adjustments if you know what you want. I have my rear set with 1.25 camber on both sides. I believe the toe is 0 to slightly positive (pointing in -I can never rememer if thats - or +).
I looked on the Dinan site again and really think that someone should look into there camber adjustible subframe. It only runs $199. No idea what the cost to intall would be but worth looking into..
