I just finished my first test run with the new intake from ECIS which was delivered around 5:00pm today. I was very antsy through dinner, but my wife finally said I could go for a drive.

I have to say that I was not expecting such a radical change in the intake sound from 4000 up. The car sounds insanely cool (technical term). Under that, not too noticable.

While there really is no evidence for improved power, I will say that it feels a bit quicker and the throttle response is improved. The Shark software "lives" a bit more with the intake.

UPS did pull through for the Saturday delivery, but they still suck. Thanks go out to HMS for their persistence.
